Starting today, we're rolling out a new screen for making credit card payments. After you choose whether to pay the full or partial amount of an invoice, when you click the Enter credit card info button, you'll be taken to another screen to submit payment information:
The main things to notice here are 1) it looks great on a mobile device, unlike the old dialog box; and 2) you can now accept one-click payments with Apple Pay and Google Pay, if you have those options enabled on your Stripe account. Consult your Stripe documentation for instructions on how to turn them on.
Note: The new payment screen also comes with a bonus feature from Stripe. When a customer closes the payment screen without entering payment info, that payment will show up as Incomplete in your Stripe dashboard. Similar to how Kickserv tells you when an invoice has been viewed, this gives you a little more insight into your customers' behavior.
We hope this makes it a little easier for you to collect payments from your customers, especially those on mobile devices. We plan to roll out this change to all Kickserv accounts over the next week or so. As always, contact support if you have any questions or feedback.
