UPDATE: the issue with the daily schedule is resolved. Update to version 3.8.1 to get the fix.
Version 3.8.1 of our iOS and Android apps features a couple of popular requests:
Technician on-the-way messages
When you head out en route to your next job, just swipe left on the event in your schedule and tap Notify.
Your customer will get a message from Kickserv (either by text or email, depending on their Customer Center notification preferences) letting them know that you are on the way and your approximate ETA.
If you need to send an update on your expected arrival time (maybe you ran out of gas or coffee, or are stuck at a train crossing?), swipe left again, and tap to send an update. You can type whatever message you like and send it to the customer.
Custom Form Fields
Job custom form fields available on the Kickserv web view are now in mobile too! Tap on Additional Information on any job to see and enter your custom data.
Simplified Phone Numbers
As we explained in this update, your contacts now feature a single contact number front and center. We did our best to figure out which number was the best to use for each contact, but any other numbers you previously entered are tucked away in the Other numbers section right underneath the primary one.
Note: extensions are not yet supported in the mobile app as of version 3.8, but will be added soon. Until then, we suggest you use the Special Instructions field to note down the extension, and then update it in the web view later.
You can now view, edit, and add rich text notes to your contacts directly in the mobile app.
