What does the Start Job button do?

The purpose of Start Job button is very simple and it will be used by your technicians when they go out to do a job.

When Start Job is clicked, the status of the job will change to In progress and this action will be registered with its date and time in the Job History of the job record. Also, this action will trigger a check-in.

The Job History can only be seen on the web platform and it is located at the end of the job record.

- Important -

The button for starting and stopping a job won't appear unless the user permissions are granted for creating/modify jobs.
