Are you seeing the aforementioned error when trying to create a new customer record?

This error most commonly occurs when we copy/paste an email address from another source. For some reason, this tends to put a space before or after the email address and that can be difficult to spot. Try hand-typing the email address in and see if that doesn't fix the problem.
