Before you can publish your marketing site, you must decide who has access to the messaging features and who will receive notifications for new work requests that are submitted.
To be assigned messaging permission, your employee must have a notification email address and be a Staff or Admin user. Technicians are currently not able to message.
There are three permission levels you can grant your employees.
Employees with None selected will not be able to read, write, or reply to any messages within Kickserv. In fact, any messaging functionality is hidden from their view.
Employees with Messages permission can read, write, and reply to any messages in Kickserv.
Employees with Requests permission can read, write, and reply to any messages in Kickserv, and they are notified of any new requests that come in from the marketing site.
